The Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is a popular and relatively short trekking route located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. It offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, including the majestic peaks of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. The trek typically takes around 5-6 days to complete, making it accessible to a wide range of trekkers, including beginners and families. Starting from the picturesque town of Nayapul, the trail passes through rhododendron forests, charming villages inhabited by the Gurung and Magar communities, and terraced farmlands.   • Day 1
    Today is your arrival day in Kathmandu! We heartily welcome you to country of Himalaya. A member of our team will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. We will have a briefing session on the trek commencing the day after tomorrow.
  • Day 2
    Early in the morning you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the domestic airport in Kathmandu and fly to Pokhara. Upon arrival Pokhara you will be picked up and transferred to Nayapul which is the starting point of your trekking. Nayapul is one and a half an hours drive from Pokhara along the twisted narrow highway that stretches to Baglung and Beni. On arriving at Nayapul our trek kicks off instantly. After walking for 30 minutes we get to Birethanti 1030m/3379ft, ACAP Check post where two rivers Modi and Bhurungdi confluence. Then head up the main trail to Thirkhedhunga. On the way, we cross beautiful villages, Sudame, Ramghai, Hile and then reach to Tikhedhunga for the overnight. Tikhedhunga.(1540m),
  • Day 3
    Today is one of the toughest day of Ghorepani Poonhill Trek. After the breakfast, we start our trek with steep climb along the never-ending series of stony staircases to Ulleri. On the way, Annapurna South (7219m), Hiunchuli (6441m) begin to show their magnificence. Beautiful villages with the amazing landscape and the Mountain View are today's attraction. After almost three hours of straight uphill climb we arrive to Ulleri. Then, we chase a pleasant trail through rhododendron and oak forests to Banthati where we stop for our lunch. Beyond Banthati a gradual uphill climb and sometimes a straight walk would bring us to Ghorepani for the overnight. O.N Ghorepani.
  • Day 4
    Today is a special day of our trek. We have to get up early in the morning then we hike to Poonhil 3210m., which is an hour uphill climb from Ghorepani. Poonhill is one of the most popular hill stations in the region that offers a wide range of Himalayan Panorama including Manaslu, Annapurna & Dhaulagiri. The sunrise over Himalaya is exceedingly beautiful from Poonhill. After having a great time at Poonhill, return to Ghorepani for breakfast and then continue our trek to Tadapani for overnight. Trek to Tadapani is the series of gentle ups and downs through beautiful woodlands comprising cascading waterfalls.
  • Day 5
    From the breakfast table at Tadapani we still can see the Himalayan panorama that is strikingly beautiful. After the breakfast we begin our trek. The first one hour trek is along the trail through beautiful rhododendron forest. Enjoy early morning forest walk with the chirping of birds. As you arrive to Bhaisi Kharka the trail now begins to slide down and then you arrive to Sitkyu. A final one hour descending climb would bring you to the wonderful Gurung hamlet, Ghandruk. Ghandruk is a popular Gurung Village of Annapurna Region, which practices authentic Gurung culture. Explore around. The trek today is relatively short-just 4 hours walk.
  • Day 6
    Today we can enjoy a final downhill walk along the steep stony staircases to Kimche. From Kimche the pleasant downhill jungle walk would bring us to Nyapul. Approximately 5 hours trek-today would bring us to Nayapul. From here we drive for about 1 hour back to Pokhara and here our trek ends. So we can enjoy our day and relax in a lakeshore restaurant in Lakeside
  • Day 7
    Today we shall get up early in the morning and drive to Sharangkot for beautiful Mountain View and sunrise in the morning. Then we drive back to Pokhara. After breakfast, we visit to International Mountain Museum, World Peace Stupa, Davis fall and walk around Fewa Lake. O/N Hotel.
  • Day 8
    After Breakfast you will be picked up from the hotel and drop to the domestic airport in Pokhara then fly to Kathmandu upon arrival Kathmandu you will be transferred to Hotel.. Free at leisure. O/N Hotel.
  • Day 9
    Today after breakfast we visit Boudhanath, Pahsupathinath, Hanumandhoka Durbar Square then drive back to the Hotel. There will be a farewell dinner organized by our office in typical Nepalese Restaurant with cultural dance show.
  • Day 10
    You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the international airport for final departure to your sweet home country or your destination.
