  • Day 1
    Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu Arrive in Kathmandu at any time. Upon arrival we take you to the Hotel. There will be short briefing about trek program.
  • Day 2
    Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2652m/8699ft) Duration: 3-4 hours To begin our trek, on this day we will fly to Lukla with a scenic flight. We walk on a track that slowly moves to Chheplung village. The village presents the lovely glimpse of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred peak which has not been climbed yet. We will then gradually walk down to Phakding passing across lush landscape and the striking views of Kusum Kangraru from distance will greet you. O/N at Local Lodge.
  • Day 3
    Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 6-7 hours We will move ahead from Phakding after our breakfast. On the way, the stunning backdrop and old Mani stone wall carved with prayers appear more beautiful. As we reach near to the Jorsale Village, we will get into Sagarmatha National park filled with wide variety of faunas and floras. Passing tortuous trail on the way, we will traverse several suspension bridges as well as pine and cedar forests. After experiencing demanding climb for some hours, we will reach Namche Bazaar which is introduced as capital of the Everest region. Namche is surrounded by snowy mountains and is occupied mostly by Sherpa people. Here, you can notice a number of lodges, shops or restaurants, etc. Namche was once upon a time a trading post where Tibetan and Nepalese traders used to exchange dried meat, salt, and textiles.   • Day 4
    Namche Bazar – Everest View Hotel – Namche We will take rest for this day in Namche Bazaar to get properly accustomed with the elevated environment and avoid altitude sickness. Alternatively, we can explore around Namche Bazaar. We can also trek to Syangboche Airport (3700m) – perhaps the highest airfield on the earth. We will continue walking to reach the Everest View Hotel where we will be enthralled witnessing spectacular views of Everest, Amadablam, Lhotse, Tawache and more. With the memories of stunning views, we will walk back to Namche Bazaar after visiting The Everest Photo Gallery and The Sherpa Culture Museum on the way. O/N at Local Lodge.
  • Day 5
    Namche to Tengboche (3860m/12660ft) Duration: 5 hours From Namche, we will catch an easy trail that takes us rather close to the striking views of Mount Everest. We will then, walk deep down to the Dudh Koshi Valley set at Pungki Thanka. From here, we will make way up to the right coast of the Dudh Koshi valley to get to the Tengboche Monastery located at the height of 3860m. Tengboche is a hub to regain transcendent feeling experiencing the serene environment surrounded by the enormous views of Mount Amadablam, Mt. Everest and numerous other. O/N at Local Lodge.
  • Day 6
    Tyangboche to Dingboche (4410m/14464ft) Duration: 5 hours From Tyangboche, we will move down to Debuche on this day. Traversing another suspension bridge hung over the Imja Khola, we will ascend to Pangboche lying between huge numbers of Mani stones. We will climb ahead from Pangboche to the charming traditional Sherpa settlement named Dingboche. Dingboche popular as ‘summer valley’ bestows beautiful views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam and Island Peak. O/N at Local Lodge.
  • Day 7
    Dingboche – Nagerjun (5100m/16728ft) and return to Dingboche, 3-4 hours At Dingboche, we will have another acclimatization day. Rather than exploring lazily around Dingboche, we can hike to Nagerjun located at the height of 5100m. Nagerjun lying just above Dingboche is set on a hill on the edges of the Chhukung valley. While hiking, we will notice the trail turning steeper making the walk quite strenuous. Walking for approximately 5 hours, we will reach Nagerjun which bestows good panorama of Lobuche East (6119m), Lobuche West (6145m), Kangtega (6685m), Taboche Peak (6367m), Thamserku (6608m), and Ama Dablam (6856m). If you are lucky, you can also observe stunning sight of Makalu, the world’s fifth tallest peak on a clear day. The views of Pheriche Valley from here is also splendid. Capturing unforgettable sights, we will walk back to Dingboche. After finishing our lunch, we can just take relax. O/N at Local Lodge.
  • Day 8
    Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m/16105ft) Duration: 5-6 hours We will depart from Dingboche and walk along the wide valley to Dughla. On the way, we will pass by the Trekkers Aid Post situated at Pheriche (4210 m) ran by Western volunteer doctors and assisted by the Himalayan Rescue Association. It aids with the necessary treatments to trekkers. We will pass through rock-strewn slants and then climb to Chupki Lhara from where we can discover enormous peak views. The apex of Chupki Lhara is full of prayer flags and Mani stones. We will also walk down to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, and then the scenic views of Khumbutse, Mahalangur Himal, Lingtren, and Pumori will greet us. After going across Khumbu Glacier we will also notice Mt. Nuptse. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
  • Day 9
    Lobuche – Gorakshep – Everest Base Camp (5364m/17594ft) – Gorekshep (5181m/16994ft) Duration: 8 hours This is one of the most awaited days of the trek. We will begin walking slowly to avoid altitude sickness. On our right side, we will notice Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier in the world. Walking for around two hours from Lobuche, we will get to Gorakshep, a tranquil location with some lodges. After that, we will make our way up to the top of the edge and we will be accompanied by the mountain views. We will then, finally arrive at Everest Base camp marked by dozens of prayer flags and piles of stones. The memorable views of Khumbutse (6,665 m), Lingtren (6,749 m), the Khumbu Icefall as well as a lot of other mountains will come into sight as we reach at the base camp. Spending the most cherished time at Everest Base Camp, we will return back to Gorakshep. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
  • Day 10
    Gorakshep – Kala Pathar (5545m/18188ft) – Gorakshep – Pheriche (4210m/13809ft) Duration: 7 hours This is another important day of the trek. We will walk up to Kala Pathar located at the height of 5545m which is the most awe-inspiring viewpoints to see Mount Everest. Our walk will be quite demanding yet rewards you with the most wonderful mountain panorama: Everest, Nuptse, Chagatse, Lhotse Pumori, and numerous others. We will then return to Gorakshep and walk further to Pheriche. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
  • Day 11
    Pheriche to Namche (3440m/11283ft) Duration: 7 hours With an easy walk we will trek all along the Imja River. Then, we will make way up to Tengboche. Also, we will move down to Pungki Thanka. We will also pass Kyangjuma walking on a stress-free path to reach Namche. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
  • Day 12
    Namche to Lukla (2800m/9184ft) Duration: 7 hours We will on this day walk on a trail moving steeply downward. On the way, we will walk across suspension bridges decorated with the prayer flags above the gushing Dudh Koshi. The views of open plains, pine and rhododendron forests as well as snow covered peaks will enchant you. As we reach Lukla, we can just relax. In the evening, we can celebrate the victory of accomplishing the trek. Overnight at guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Day 14: Lukla to Kathmandu
  • Day 13
    Lukla to Kathmandu You will be delighted by the mountain views for the last time while flying from Lukla to Kathmandu for 30 minutes. As you reach at Kathmandu airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.
  • Day 14
    Reserve day in Kathmandu On this day, you can just relax. Optionally, you can explore around Kathmandu or go for shopping in Thamel. Overnight at hotel, breakfast included.
  • Day 16
    Farewell The airport representative from Mountain Journey Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd will transfer you to Kathmandu International Airport around 3 hours before your scheduled flight. You will depart from Nepal with the most memorable experience.
